Tuscan Cuisine Part I

Italian food is beloved all over the world, enchanting hearts (and tastebuds!) wherever it goes. However, nothing can compare to the experience of eating authentic Italian food in Italy itself, and of all the regional cuisines the country has to boast of, I find that Tuscan food is one of my favorites. You’ll see why when you learn about its ancient history, which goes all the way back to the fascinating Etruscan civilization. The Etruscans loved to wine and dine, and Tuscans today are no different, even if the food itself eschews complicated cookery for simple, honest, fresh ingredients.
